    Newcastle/Gateshead is famous for it’s amazing shopping opportunities, below are the top shopping destinations in Newcastle and Gateshead. Gateshead is home to the largest indoor shopping mall in Europe, the Metro centre. However In Newcastle the shops are more spread out amongst the streets, the main High street being Northumberland street and also the slightly smaller Greys street, as well as the two shopping malls, Eldon square and the central arcade, all within short walking distance.

    In Newcastle there are three main music venues as well as some smaller bars etc through both Newcastle and Gateshead. The largest Venue is the Metro radio arena, and therefore it houses the largest concerts. Secondly is the 02 academy, this venue houses a lot smaller concerts for less well known bands. The Cluney is only a small bar but has some very good music line ups at cheaper prices.
